As I sit in my chair awaiting College Gameday From South Bend for the first time in 25 years, I realize, today is the day a memorable season for the Irish begins.

Or so I think.

Kirk, Lee, and the gang are just in front of Touchdown Jesus talking about today’s games. I’m sitting at home anticipating the night cap game.

Call me crazy, but here’s my take. How the hell is a higher ranked, whole field advantage Notre Dame team not favored against Michigan? This is something I know in the past hasn’t panned out, but Vegas has this one wrong.

Watch out as soon as the plane flyovers roar above Notre Dame Stadium, as I think this is gonna be a battle.

A battle that the Irish will see victory in when the clock hits :00. Here is another hot take:

Wimbush and the run game are going to be too much for Michigan. I don’t think that Michigan has the ability to contain the attack of Notre Dame.

The Ole Miss transfer QB will have a lot of firsts with his new team. That gives the Irish the ability to disrupt early and continue on their improving defense.

Although the injury to Crawford is tough for the Irish, Michigan’s starting receiver is out as well, leaving them without another weapon on offense.

Overall, buckle up. It’s gonna be a great first day of football and ending on a note too good for Irish fans.

An Irish W over the Wolverines.

Go Irish ☘️
